Once again, gamers will get to play with the scary animatronics of "Friday Nights at Freddy's," thanks to a new installment in the series. There will be a Halloween update for fans to enjoy and a new game titled "Five Nights at Freddy's World."

FNAF World will not be a horror game, but an RPG. According to IGN, Scott Cawthon, the game's creator, recently spilled beans surrounding his new project on Steam.

"I wanted to keep my plans for a new game secret until Halloween, but while my teasers have created excitement for some, they have created confusion as well, mainly because people don't know if the Five Nights at Freddy's story is over or not," Cawthon expressed.

Cawthon clarifies everything about FNAF and talks about the next games under the title's umbrella. Unfortunately, for fans looking for a fifth FNAF game, the creator outright states that there will be no FNAF 5.

He explains that the ending of FNAF 4 completes the story of the entire series. In addition, he noted that the games he's currently working on will not add to the story line of FNAF 1 - 4.

The Halloween update and FNAF World will be related to "Five Nights at Freddy's" through the use of the animatronics. "I wanted to use these characters in a new and fun way because they are so near and dear to my heart, and I was excited to work on a type of game that I hadn't made in a long time," Cawthon explained.

In "Five Nights at Freddy's World," gamers will get to party with their friends and play the scary animatronics themselves. According to Twin Finite, there will be a wide variety of characters to choose from, including some of the classic, withered, toy, phantom, and even nightmare versions of the animatronics.

FNAF World will be available on iOS and Android devices, as well as on the PC. Cawthon is working an a free demo for World. The release date for both the demo and the actual game have not been announced yet.

Cawthon explains there is still a lot of work to be done on the upcoming game. He is just starting on the enemy models next week, so it might take some time even before a demo is ready.
